Went today with my buddy 11/18/23. We got there at 3pm to hit the range. Guy at the desk told us they had new twilight hours and that they closed at 7pm. We wanted to play 9 but he said we had to play all 18 holes. We agreed and by the 9th hole we noticed that they were taking down the flags. We couldn't go any faster because of the group in front of us. I asked if they were closing and the guy at the clubhouse said yes. It was only 5pm. I said ok, but if they're gonna promote twilight hours they should probably add some lights out there and they should not say they close at 7pm. They state that they put 1 million to renovate the place but I don't see it. Don't go after 2pm.🤷♂️
Describing this place is beyond a joke. Obviously most golfers that use this rundown facility have never played at better places. The fairway is dirty can't tell where the grass begins and the weeds take over. Sprinklers go on constantly as if one needed to get wet while playing. The workers are rude and have a pretentious attitude. They see one playing and don't even bother to get out of the way. There is no marshal to move things along and keep it friendly...people are drinking alcoholic beverages on the greens and they have children present...I will be following up on the legality of the latter...The players are loud, yelling and screaming, place opens at 7am and yet I noticed people playing before that. I dont think the neighbors appreciate the yelling and playing. The individuals running the store are more consumed by how much money they can make. They allow large groups to play...walking...so this consumes hours of descent play for others. The food is deplorable and please, at least use gloves when handling food. The bathrooms are filthy and have trash all over the place. The only thing worth noting here is the beautiful flocks of Geese that fly in. Lastly, don't overstay your welcome because the people in the golf store will call police and try to get rid of you and say they are the owners when it is a CITY OWNED FACILITY. Major mistake playing here, never again.
I lived there since 2017 and there was people above us throwing trash and it stinked, the roads are cracked, the apartments had mold and the lake is straight up garbage to the point you can’t even BREATHE next to it.
If you plan on moving there DON’T!
I went there to get in a round and was pleasantly surprised. Small greens are in good shape, fairways not so much. Good par 3's, short par 5's. Can't beat the price and was not crowded
Fun old school course with nice clean greens. The problem is that the fairways need work, and the side grass needs to be cut more. Lost 4 balls just off the fairways in longer grass since they weren't cut. I'm not PGA material where people put a flag on my ball, so it adds up. It's a fun course but needs some TLC.
The green is bumpy, and fairway looks like the rough. Carts were not fully charged.
Nice golf course with open fairways, and it's cheaper than the surrounding courses by a decent amount!
A fun course with a great staff. Greens are fine, but the fairways could use a little work
